spontaneous!
yesterday…june 15th, 2009 was so epic!!…..so i come in to work at 8 and around 9:50, cops come and tell us to evacuate the whole building…which got me all excited…lol..apparently the gas pipes on the block were punctured and it wasn’t safe….and so work was cancelled for the rest of the day!!!
and so we’re just hanging out at ricardo’s house…and he goes “lets go fishing”….and so we get in the car and stop at a Big 5 and buy fishing supplies….lol..and wut was funny was that i was dressed like a butch lesbian….lol..i was wearing his “My girlfriend likes to watch” t shirt and baggy shorts and converses….
anyway…we drive up to el monte…and buy night crawlers from the asian convenience store at the corner..lol..that asian guy was soooo decked out….the counter was lined with bullet proof glass…it was hilarious…my eyes got all big after he lifted the lid cuz the worms started moving
so we park our car by this fence and climb down this steep hill of rocks by the side of the freeway by this little river/creek/pond thing….
and we set down our things so ricardo could put together my rod for me…lol
lol..which i broke on the first try….
he built his own rod out of a long stick…..but we traded cuz i kept getting the string tangled…and it ended up breaking anyway…no wonder it was on sale!!!….lol…but it’s ok…cuz i liked fishing with the stick better anyway…
oh man…we caught so many fish…but it was fun even tho we would let them go…..we put the ones we could in the bucket we brought….
and they would try to jump out..they were friggin crazy…lol…..the ones that jumped out would flop on the rocks until the rolled back into the water
they were so tiny!!!!
but yeah..it was cool….cuz there was this tiny waterfall near us and we decided to cross it to explore wut was there…and man…the rocks were so slippery so we walked all slow so that we wouldn’t get washed away…and the water kept getting deeper until it was almost up to our knees…so our shoes were soaked!!! lol….but we didn’t care…
lol…u can tell i’m in water cuz my legs are all ashy and shit….but yeah….i felt all adventurous and then i needed to pee really bad so i went pee behind these bushes……it was funny…abraham was being a butthole tho…..cuz he left me a message on my phone and he sounded all mad cuz he was trying to open the store again….he was like ‘WHERE ARE YOU!?!?! YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO BE HERE!!! UR NOT OFF TIL 4!” but there was no way i was gonna drive back just to work for an hour…hahahha..he’s dumb
too bad there were no fishes in the swamp thing near there……i climbed over these bigass rocks like a monkey for no reason…but o well….
so we walk back…and have burgers at the stand Piggies on peck road…lol….and talked about how great the day was =]
and then when i got home…..i found out that there was a blackout…so my sister and i just laid there talking about how dumb we were as kids until we fell asleep…lol..man we were dumb kids…
