Let there be light!!!

i think it’s a tragedy that michael jackson died…and probably the most random thing ever….and it’s weird because you could see how big of an impact he has made in pop culture….just by remembering this past week, i can think of some occassions where michael jackson’s influence was apparent in my every day life:

• like on tuesday, ricardo and i just played the michael jackson video game “moonwalker” at the Nickel Nickel arcade…in this game, michael fights off the bad guys and has to save the little children….his special attack is dancing…and if his pet monkey bubbles shows up, michael turns into this robot who shoots out lasers…it was a really fun game…actually, it was the only game i kicked ricardo’s ass in….the other was tetris
• or how on the cosby show episode i was recently watching with my sister….when theo bought that expensive gordon gattrell shirt..bill cosby says “no 14 year old boy should have a $95 shirt unless he is on stage with his 4 brothers”
• or that the cd i happened to have in my car cd player was “thriller” by michael jackson!!!
• also, when i put my ipod on shuffle on saturday, it kept playing random jackson 5 songs!!!

but yeah….it’s very sad….he was a legend
